Case: Solid stainless steel screwback case, unusual for a dress watch as most dress watches from this period were snap back cases. Signed inside with the Universal Geneve logo. Caseback engraved for the original owner, adds a charming bit of provenance to this piece and dates it to 1944.
Cleaned, unpolished case; the original lines and angles all intact.
Dial: Extremely unusual copper dial with white, Breguet numerals. Signed Universal Geneve, Swiss.
