Caseback marked Stainless Steel Back, Swiss. Numbered: 35-855
Dial: Original, factory finished brushed gold dial with beautiful gold hour markers and inner alarm scale. Old radium lume dots at hour markers.
Sweep seconds with short alarm hand.
Movement: Well regarded A. Schild 1475 or AS 1475. This movement was one of the finest mechanical wrist alarm movements ever made and was used by venerable makers such as Girard-Perregaux and Tudor (Rolex’s subsidiary). Unsigned movement, appropriate for this reference. Movement marked “17 Jewels” All alarm functions work properly. This movement is in pristine condition, and the alarm is LOUD!
Fully serviced by our master watchmaker.
Dimensions: 35 mm x 43 mm without crowns
Condition: Some issues with the case, but on the wrist and as a wearer, this watch looks great. The alarm complication is one of my favorite, and rarely seen today. This is a great way to purchase an AS 1475 without shelling out for a Girard-Perregaux or Tudor.
Band: Genuine lizard strap in black.
