Case: Solid stainless steel screwback case. Signed inside with the Tissot logo. Cleaned original case. Signed, Tissot Crown.
Dial: Creamy dial with original stick hour markers.
Clean hands with strips of luminous material.
Factory original dial, believed to be original finish, though the top part of the “S” in Seastar appears to have been retouched at some point in the past. Beautiful condition.
Movement: Tissot 28.5R-21
Automatic wind, sweep second. 17 Jewels. Power reserve of 35 hours, per manufacturer’s specs. This is one of Tissot’s earliest automatic calibres, and given the Tissot/Omega connection, the movement is highly significant from an horological engineering and development perspective.
Frequency: 19,800 beats per hour.
