Case: Stainless steel case with snap caseback. Excellent condition, received a very light polishing, preserving original lines.
Caseback marked Acier Inox, Swiss Made. Serial number: 94309
Dial: Original, factory finished white/cream matte center dial with silver finish outside date chapter. Old radium lume dots at hour markers.
Hand pointer to date chapter at perimeter of dial. Twin day/month windows, and moonphase window.
Few imperfections for a watch of this age, and highly unusual art deco type hour marker design. See pictures for details.
Movement: Highly sought after and well regarded Valjoux 90. Unmarked movement is correct for this model Gubelin. All day/date /month/ moonphase complications work properly.

Condition: Nice patina on a beautiful watch from the 1950s with a highly desirable Valjoux movement.
Band: Genuine brown crocodile stap, lightly used. No stamped leather here. This is a very, high quality strap.
