Nice, old quality, balance poising caliper. These are the tools that watchmaker and watch repair people use to balance the delicate parts in mechanical watches. This tool is all you need to work on a wide variety of watch movements. It will also look quite handsome displayed on the work bench.

Comes in the original plastic container (cracked), marked General Time, A Talley Industries Company, Rolling Meadows, Illinois. 

The legs screw on and allow you to level the tool.  Knurled knob rotates smoothly. 

Tool has some surface dirt and minor oxidation.  Should clean up nicely or use as is.
