Description
This is a vintage balance screw undercutter made by Elgin and H.G. Wilson. These are highly collectible old tools used to remove tiny amounts of material from the screws that are on the balance wheel of wristwatches and pocket watches. This particular tool is identical to the factory tools that were used in the old Elgin Watchmaking Company factory back in the early 1900s when the American watchmaking tradition was considered among the best in the world.
